Timber Frame Levelling System

The Sole Plate's Soul Mate
Timber frame installers know that concrete foundations are often uneven, so additional packing is usually required to ensure the sole plate is level. Conventional packing pieces are all very well, but they don't provide any structural benefits and they can easily dislodge, adding to the time and fuss.
The Timber Frame Levelling System (TFLS) on the other hand, consists of a universal base plate and interlocking packing pieces all of which is fixed into the concrete and the timber frame.
So it not only achieves a perfectly level sole plate, it takes care of stuctural duties too - channeling vertical and horizontal loads away from the walls and into the foundations.
Flexible, fast and permanent - once the TFLS and sole plate get together, they stay together.

Flexible, fast and permanent
TFLS provides the combined function of levelling and fixing the sole plate to the foundation or substructure. It comprises a universal base plate and packing pieces which can be added or removed as required.
Unlike conventional packing solutions, the system is permanent and transfers vertical and lateral loads from the wall to the foundation.
- Suitable for use with traditional timber frame walls and closed panel systems.
- Adaptable - accommodates structural packing up to 30mm deep.
- Universal - suitable for walls of 89mm and140mm construction.
- Flexible - packing pieces can easily be added or removed from the base plate to achieve the required depth.
- Structural - satisfies NHBC requirements for permanent structural packing of the sole plate when installed at load points.
- Multiple nail holes in bracket offer a variety of nailing options.
